At our meeting on April 19th we will discuss The 19th wife by David Ebershoff. This book combines historical fiction with a modern murder mystery. In the first story it is 1875 and Ann ELiza Young has separated from her powerful husband Brighan Young, prophet and leader of the Mormon church. As an outcast she sets out on a crusade to end polygamy in the United States. The second story is a tale of murder involving a polygmist family in present day Utah. A young man Jordan Scott must discover the truth behind the death of his father a crime of which his mother has been accused. The two stories intertwine and the reader is drawn into the heart of the Mormon community and to mysteries of both love and faith. If you have read this book and would like to be part of the discussion join us at Warrwong Library on Monday 19th April at 2.00pm
